In this modernization era, there is a cut throat competition, due to the rapid change in the economy as it is consumer’s market rather than being a producer’s one. In the midst of such a competitive world of business, organizations are now becoming highly dynamic and sensitive towards consumer needs. Hence, it has become very vital to have some platform, where young and budding managers and academicians could express their views and discuss the problems in consumerism among their peers. This novel idea has been the origin for the creation of this journal. This Journal has been introduced in order to give an opportunity for expressing the various concepts and topics in consumerism as there is an increased need of consumer protection due to the following reasons.

  1. Growing size and complexity of production and distribution systems,
  2. The high level of sophistication in marketing and newer methods of advertising,
  3. Mass marketing methods and emergence of e-commerce result in reduction of personal interaction between consumers and sellers and hence the idea behind this journal is to discuss about the problems in consumerism.
